Ch. 7 - Business Marketing

Posted on 15:56 by kumar

The Adidas Group carries countless products that are used because of their physical characteristics. A business product is a product intended for use and a consumer product is a product used because of it's physical form. Adidas is not known to keep business products maybe some but this is not what they are known for. An example of a business product would be a PC that is sold to a college. The PC itself is a business product, it is used as an aid to complete day to day operations of an organization. When the flier of a PC instates "great for office work" clearly you can see that this is Business Marketing. There are some rare products which can be classified as both business and consumer products. Those products are pens, paper, staples, printers and etc. Adidas mostly produces consumer products, these products are made for personal use. Products such as shorts, socks, sweats, shoes, and other athletic gear. The Adidas Group major focus is to address multiple consumer needs of athletes of amateur and professional levels. This way they can exploit many market opportunities.

The internet is a great way for an organization to market itself. Adidas runs a highly efficient online website where consumers can find what they are looking for and the duration of visits is per day is  abundant. Adidas has great online success in the market. Their stickiness is popular.

The beautiful Katy Perry has recently become an Adidas icon. Even though Adidas spokes models have usually been athletes Katy Perry brings drive and hard work into the "All Adidas" campaign. She is the face of Adidas for Women. Some of her music is also used in Adidas campaigns and many people forget that Katy Perry also dances behind her main profession of singing. Dancing is athletic and you need the right gear from Adidas. Adidas Impossible is Nothing. Adidas Were All In!
